Requirements

• Software requirements should be unambiguous and can be refined

• Can view slides for all the requirements for the requirements

• Now is the time to meet up with stakeholders and see what they have to say about the project

• Can make things like a usability survey

Failure Analysis

• example: insulin machine does not release enough insulin or any at all
• An example for a software capstone could be a Security breach and how we would handle that
• Hazard analysis is needed to consider building devices and processes that are safe and ensure that they are safe
• Even though 100% safety is unachievable, we want to avoid unacceptably unsafe builds
• Hazard: property in the system + condition in environment that has the potential to cause harm/ damage
• Can use GPT to help define harm and hazards
