How can I contribute?

README.md says the community is invited to contribute and the news announcing it seem similarly inclined, but other than read it, I can do nothing with the source, because there are no unit tests or roadmap to check if my changes make sense.

Where is 4chan's development going? How should I test changes?

The JS itself in the repo is severely outdated, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Perhaps it would be more appropriate to declare the repo dead, then...
