Session does not close if the user leaves the page

How to reproduce: open a terminal in the browser and then close the tab or refresh it without closing the terminal
This results in having ghost sessions open that will remain open until HFS is quit (or by extension, updated) or the plugin is stopped

one possible solution is to kill the session when the rest api gets disconnected
