Export/import/backup settings and extensions?

Is there a way to export all current settings and installed extensions from A1111 and then import them again?

I use rundiffusion.com for running SD via Automatic1111/web-ui. I have 100 GB persistent storage, and all my models and renders are stored between sessions, available each time I spin up a new server/instance.

However, extensions are not saved, so I have to install the ones I need each time I spin up, essentially recreating my ideal workspace each time. It would be great if I could export/back up my workspace and then just import it again for the next session.

Is there a way to accomplish this, and, if not, might this be a good idea for a feature? I'm sure there are others who have issues with using pay-as-you-go sessions. Maybe you could even export your workspace from one provider and then load it into A1111 with another provider?

This is a RunDiffusion issue, it relates to how their directories are set up on their servers. This is not an Automatic1111 issue.

I'm not suggesting that A1111 doesn't have the ability to store its state; I am fully aware that my specific situation is caused by a limitation imposed by RD.

Let me try to pose my question differently — the nature of working with SD means that many people who want to use the technology lack sufficient hardware to do so, and need to use external services. While it is possible to rent server instances with persistent storage, this is not the norm, and is usually costly. Even with persistent storage, choices (or mistakes) made by the service provider could mean that settings and/or extensions are not saved between sessions, forcing the user to set up their workspace from scratch each time they spin up a session.

As it seems this is not currently a feature, would it be possible to create the ability to export and import (or back up and restore) settings and extensions from within A1111? This would facilitate users of session-based services to hit the ground running each time they spin up, and possibly make it easier for all users to create backups of their A1111 work environment.
