xformers & sageattention break Comfy

just a heads up and warning for Krita-Ai-diffusion users: it seems that installing some requirements for Krita-Ai-diffusion might install both xformers and sageattention. Which in return breaks the entire comfy installation. If you are encountering random images that have nothing to do with your prompt: try uninstalling those python packages.

Moved this to discussion. Maybe it helps someone, but none of the nodes required by the plugin install xformers or sageattention, so it's not directly related.

You are the expert, but as far as understood sageattention and xformers are always optional.

In my observations, one of the comfy nodes required to make krita-ai-diffusion work installs them though.

I can't pinpoint which one, but our Krita installation is mainly used through your plugin. So after comfy broke, I reinstalled everything, only installed the stuff necessary for the plugin and it broke again until that person on Reddit suggested to look at sageattention and xformers.

There is no need to guess, I keep lock files and xformers/sageattention isn't in them.

They can be generated with

uv pip compile ComfyUI/requirements.txt ComfyUI/custom_nodes/comfyui_controlnet_aux/requirements.txt ComfyUI/custom_nodes/comfyui-tooling-nodes/requirements.txt ComfyUI/custom_nodes/ComfyUI-GGUF/requirements.txt

That's all the required custom nodes minus the ones that don't have any requirements.

Just add any additional nodes with requirements.txt you have to the list, it will list if xformers would be installed and which node is responsible.

At the end it's a problem the comfy guys should fix. but in case anyone using your plugin wonders, why it's ignoring the prompts, this a thing to look into.
