System Details

Problem

There might be more than one Task named Renderer listed in the Thorium Task Manager, such that it's Memory Footprint is freezing up in place like - or x,xxxK and has Process ID that doesn't appear in the Windows Task Manager

I'm not sure what the guaranteed steps are to be reproduced.
But a fresh start with an empty USER_DATA doesn't change either.
Just try using Thorium long enough for it to appear.

Or see the .gif below that might help to understand.

Every settings is on default after the first setup of Don't Sign in and Skip from new empty USER_DATA folder.

  1. Launch THORIUM.BAT
  2. Open Thorium Task Manager
  3. Open Settings Page
  4. There will be two "Ghosts" Renderer
  5. Open New Tab
  6. Close the Settings Page
  7. There will be one new "Ghosts" Renderer
  8. By looking at the Windows Task Manager, those Process ID of the associated Renderer Task is nowhere to be found.
