Current version heats up

The current version (V0.9.1) heats up noticeably, making the (acrylic) case warm to the touch. The majority of this heat looks to be coming from the 5/3.3 V dual linear regulator.

Swapping out this component for a 5V low noise switching regulator with a wide input range and then adding a 3.3V LDO regulator would do a great job at cooling down this setup overall.
