Shortly after 7:00PM on the 10th, I noticed my laptop monitor had gone all red. I thought my camera had gotten wet and gone on the fritz. Credit goes to the Allsky project team for this. I just put the camera out. |

This is what the camera captured just a few minutes later (in RI):

Just wanted to share.
I don't have great night skies living in a suburban area between NYC and Philly and I have a lot of trees on my property. This didn't stop me from putting an allsky camera on my roof because I wanted to capture something cool and the technology aspect was right up my alley.
Last night I captured something epic. Throughout the night I captured a time-lapse of the Aurora Borealis right above my house in NJ! I went outside a few times looking up but didn't really see anything. But my allsky camera captured the whole event.
Super excited and looking forward to the next version. Thanks to all the contributors of this project. Cheers!
