Adjusting Window Height

I would like some advice on where to adjust the height of the window. The window is too cropped at the top and bottom. Thank you in advance for your help.

The Settings -> Allsky Website documentation page describes all the options including the browser window size, but I suspect you are really asking about the size of the image from the camera, and not the the browser window size?

If I am correct, the way to change how much, if any, of the circle is cropped (assuming you are not cropping the image via Allsky settings) is to get a different camera with a physically larger sensor and/or get a lens that produces a smaller image circle. It's all about physics. See the "Lens" section here for an explanation.

I just need to change the height to approximately 760px.

I was looking into how to set this up, but I think I need better guidance because I went through the entire documentation and couldn’t find what I need. I’d like to ask if it’s possible to fix the display issue with the “Show constellation overlay” function. It seems that the top part is covered by the upper window (see photo). I know it can be fixed by moving the circle, but then it doesn’t make sense to me. Or is it possible to adjust the height of the window where the camera data is displayed?

The imageWidth setting is supposed to change the maximum size of the image window (the blue part in your originalpost), but I recently found out it doesn't work. It's fixed in the next release, due in a month or so.

The constellation overlay is a pain in the butt to get sized and centered correctly. There is at least one GitHub Issue to try and make it easier to set up by providing better instructions.

Pretend like you are seated in front of a wall. It has a window that is imageWidth mm big and outside is your image. The window appears to cut off a tiny bit of the light circle at the top of your image.

When you turn on the constellation overlay, a huge piece of glass with the constellations on it appears outside, but you only see imageWidth of it because of the window. By adjusting the overlayWidth, overlayHeight, overlayOffsetTop and overlayOffsetleft settings you can stretch or shrink the glass and move it up, down, right, and left. You can also rotate the glass by changing the az setting and can change how the overlay looks (round, flat, etc.) by changing the projection setting (fisheye makes it look like it was taken with a fisheys lens). Your image never changes though.

Your goal is to adjust the constellation overlay to match the stars in your image so you concentrate on the circle on the overlay and the light circle on your image.
The overlay was initially too far left, so you increase the overlayOffsetLeft to move it right so the left side of the overlay touches the left side of the circle on your image. But now you notice the overlay is too big because its right side is too far right. So you decrease the width and height of the overlay in equal amounts, but now the overlay is too far left so you move it right.

You keep iterating like this until you either get frustrated and quit, or you give up and say "close enough", realizing that your image is slightly distorted due to your cheap lens and plastic dome, whereas the overlay is not distorted.
