Errors in remoteWebsiteInstall.sh after upgrade to v2024.12.06

Upgraded this morning to v2024.12.06 and all went smoothly until I ran ./remoteWebsiteInstall.sh:

I read through previous discussions and the Troubleshooting guide and added the "set ssl:verify-certificate no" to my FTP settings here:

Re-running the .remoteWebsiteInstall.sh script produced the same errors (and keeps disabling my remote website). What should I do?

My allsky website is: http://allsky.boterosanchez.co.uk and it's showing up-to-date images.

Should the command for FTP read "set ssl:verify-certificate false" instead of "set ssl:verify-certificate no"? Also tried creating the ~/.lftprc file but not sure if it's being saved in the right place as it is not showing in the main allsky folder. Where should it live?

You probably don't need the file, but it goes in ~, which is the home directory for whatever user runs the command. By default, that is /home/pi.

Files that begin with . are "hidden"; to see them, run ls -a.

Yes, I knew it was being saved there. My issue may be that I installed allsky in /home/allsky and not /home/pi I tried to create this file using nano and adding the "set ssl..." line starting in the actual /allsky folder

I will look into the ERROR: NOT FOUND message. That's probably NOT related to the problem keeping the Allsky Website files from being uploaded.
The installer was able to upload a test file, so you don't need to change anything. It's failing trying to "mirror", i.e. copy, the Website source files.
As a workaround, copy all the files in ~/allsky/html/allsky to your remote server manually, the run ./remoteWebsiteInstall.sh --skipupload.
That will do the rest of the installation.

Would you be willing to give me temporary access to your server, ideally with a separate FTP login than what you use, and with a different home directory? Your server is somehow configured differently than others, and the problem might be hard to troubleshoot without access.

Thank you! I will look into setting up another account to access. Images, timelapse, startrail, keogram, etc all uploaded successfully to the website this morning. I assume it is simply working with the old website configuration?

You are correct. I am pretty sure I have a fix but am waiting for @Alex-developer to review.

@rbotero1976, for the ERROR: NOT FOUND message, would you please attach ~/allsky/config/logs/install.log and ~/allsky/config/logs/remoteWebsiteInstall.log?
Please also run ls -l ~/allsky/remoteWebsiteInstall.sh.
Do you remember when you did the git clone .... ?

Ran as per my comments above in the actual installation folder:

pi@allsky:/home/allsky $ ls -l /home/allsky/remoteWebsiteInstall.sh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 pi pi 28876 Jan 2 09:02 /home/allsky/remoteWebsiteInstall.sh

The git was downloaded yesterday morning.

Both logs attached. remoteWebisteInstall.sh was ran several times so only sending the last section of the log as they all look the same.

FYI, I just created Issue #4165 to not add the username and password into the log file. They should only ever be in the env.json file which we'll never ask users to upload. Thanks for unknowingly exposing the bug.

@rbotero1976, please do the following:

cd ~/allsky
mv remoteWebsiteInstall.sh remoteWebsiteInstall.sh-OLD
# go to the [Issue #4165](https://github.com/AllskyTeam/allsky/issues/4165) page and download the attached file to ~/allsky
chmod 755 remoteWebsiteInstall.sh
./remoteWebsiteInstall.sh

This will attempt the remote Website installation with what should be the fix. It should go fairly quickly.

Please post any updates to that Issue, not here.
