Hello all, I need to set the allsky webserver on a different port from default 80. I found an old thread specifying that we can change the webserver port by editing the lighttpd.conf file. I did this and reboot, but obviously does not work. Weberver continues listening on port 80 only. Am I missing something ? |

@ben, how are you determining that the webserver is still in port 80? When you tried connecting to it did you specify the port number, like http:90//pi.local |

Well.. I found a bit of my way into all this... I found out that there is another lighttpd.conf file : located in etc/lighttpd. Since I'm a complete newbie on Linux, it took me 2 hours to modify permission of this file, and modify the server port :-( And now it works. But honestly I really don't know whether it was the right thing to do ?? Ben |
