I worked on some path planning algorithms about a decade ago and even a decade before that. I had to implement clipping and expanding polygons, so I know how tricky this can be. I want to thank congratulate you on creating and maintaining this library, putting it on github, and the exceptional documentation with graphics, explanation of the issues, and the trigonometry diagrams.
