🛑 Before you Start

  • I have searched existing bug reports for my problem.
  • I have read the F-A-Q.
  • I am using the latest version of Animated Java
  • I will only report a single bug in this report. If I have found multiple bugs, I will create a separate report for each one.

🗣️ Describe the bug

Note: Tested in 1.21.5, which is a supported version in Blockbench but is not listed here on Github.

When creating a rig contains block displays in Animated Java, they are not correctly positioned when summoned, and are rotated 180 degrees. When an animation begins, they are oriented correctly, so summoning them with a default pose animation is always necessary.

⚠️ Error Message

🔄️ How to Reproduce

  1. Download copper golem test.zip
  2. Export the project to Minecraft
  3. Summon in coppergolem
  4. Observe that the stair and the diamond are not positioned as they are in Blockbench, and are rotated 180 degrees (north-facing stair is facing south)
  5. Play the animation, observe the positions of the display entities correct themselves

✅ Expected Behavior

I expect that the summoned rig has all of its display entities rotated and positioned correctly, even before an animation is played.

💡 Solutions & Alternatives

You can of course summon a rig in a default pose as a workaround, which is not too difficult to do.
