🛑 Before you Start

  • I have searched existing bug reports for my problem.
  • I have read the F-A-Q.
  • I am using the latest version of Animated Java
  • I will only report a single bug in this report. If I have found multiple bugs, I will create a separate report for each one.

🗣️ Describe the bug

Whenever i export a blueprint, every field except for "pack" gets cleared. I have listed screenshots below showcasing before and after of my pack.mcmeta file.
This issue applies to both the resource and data pack.

⚠️ Error Message

🔄️ How to Reproduce

  1. Create a datapack and resource pack, and put something besides "pack" in the pack.mcmeta. You can just use "filter", but from my experimentation i have found that it removes everything except for the "pack" field.
  2. Export a blueprint into the selected resource pack and/or data pack.
  3. When you check the pack.mcmeta the only field left is now "pack"

✅ Expected Behavior

I expect it to just not touch my pack.mcmeta file at all. I get it has to do some touch ups to do the overlay fields for multiple versions support, and that is most likely what is causing the issues. But i do not even have that enabled.

💡 Solutions & Alternatives

I'm currently solving it by just having git hub desktop open, and then reverting the change every time. But i am really getting tired of having that extra step every time.
