Stuck in Grant Notifications Permission

For some reason I have no issue with the previous parts on the setup, I always get stuck here. Whether I have the notifications permission granted or not, I receive the error Please grant this permission. Clicking Grant does nothing.

OS: GrapheneOS
Installed from Droid-ify (F-Droid repository)

I have exactly the same issue using GrapheneOS on Pixel 8 with F-Droid. I've bought a smart watch (Oppo Watch [Beluga]) the first time in my life, because I've seen non privacy invasive OSs (AstroidOS), which is the only reason to have a smart watch at all :)

It is weird because right before "Notifications" it asks for "Phone Notifications" and even if you give it all available permissions in the app manager, it still stuck on the "Notifications" screen.

Could you solve the issue, yet?

Same here, Pixel 8 Pro with GOS. Switched to GadgetBridge for now but would love to test both apps :/

I don't see a post from you here or in the linked issue. But I still have the issue on version 0.29, which is the latest version on both F-Droid and here on Github.

If you switch OFF the Advanced Protection on your Android Phone, then you CAN grant the permissions. Remember to switch them back on.

What do you mean by that exactly? GrapheneOS has a lot advanced protection.

Experiencing the same issue. Can't grant permissions from the app. I manually granted all permissions but still can't get past permissions screen. App is unusable.
