Can't Grant Notifications Permission

Installed AsteroidOS on my Tickwatch E with success.

However, I can't grant Notifications Permissions when installing the Sync App on my Pixel XL Pro (Android 16).

When I check the phone permissions, they are already granted. If I toggle off, and rerun the app, still won't allow me to regrant.

I have tried to install older versions but have the same problem.

Any advice please 🙏

Same issue. Can't grant permissions in the app, even though I manually granted permissions to the app. Makes the app unusable.

I'm on Android 15, when you open AsteroidOS in the Apps menu, in the permissions window, click the 3 dots on the top right and allow restricted settings.

I'm on Android 16, and on my phone the 3 dots only show "All permissions."

Found a settings page with heading "Notification read, reply & control" with Asteroidossync listed under Not Allowed. Clicking Asteroidossync displays 5 options checked once Allow Notification Access is checked. Going back to the app, I had no issues setting up all the requested permissions. Now to retrieve the watch from the other room and continue set-up. /Tom

I still have a Bluetooth problem on my Tickwatch E. Connects and drops immediately, the developers understood the problem but did not have time to fix it before they abandoned the project 😭
