Context and steps to reproduce

Spotted a migrated site for an A4A agency that was listed as "Public" in most places, and acting that way (was visible in private browsers, etc), but showed "Coming Soon" in the /Sites dashboard.

Unclear how to reproduce this, but I thought I should report it.

Evidence of the issue

The customer's site loaded as expected (publicly) in private browsers, and the Site Settings page showed:

However, the /sites dashboard listed:

And in the site's NA, I saw:

(Further troubleshooting details can be found here: https://github.com/Automattic/dotcom-migrations/issues/1833#issuecomment-2625839845)

As there have long been similar instances of conflicting Public/Coming Soon statuses, I'll note those for reference:

Site owner impact

Fewer than 20% of the total website/platform users

Severity

Minor

What other impact(s) does this issue have?

No revenue impact

If a workaround is available, please outline it here.

Checking the "Public" box in NA > Info and saving Settings resolves the discrepancy.

I haven't seen other instances where this happened, so I wonder if this is specific to the migrations queue.

@Automattic/serenity would this something you could look into?

I'll keep an eye out for it in general. For now, definitely low priority, I mainly wanted to document it!
