Properties reset to default with logout/login or reboot

I change to 24 hour clock and the calendar transparency to 0.25 and everything is good. Log out and back in or reboot and settings are returned to default 12 hour clock and 0.95 transparency. I couldn't find any config files for axisclock but I'm fairly new to Arch. Any thoughts?
