Hi there,

This is not an issue as such but a request for some additional documentation for the smart on fhir sample. Would it be possible to show in more detail the backend service process to generate a client assertion JWT and possibly some supporting postman examples for obtaining the access token?

It would be great to see information on the JWT generation and the required claims specified here - https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/smart-app-launch/client-confidential-asymmetric.html#authenticating-to-the-token-endpoint. Specifically I am trying to generate a JWT using a self signed certificate that I have uploaded into my app registration.

Thanks

Hi @liamwilson-kainos ! Sorry for the delay. Can I double check with you - are you using the SMART on FHIR sample (https://github.com/Azure-Samples/azure-health-data-and-ai-samples/tree/main/samples/smartonfhir) or the ONC (g)(10) sample (https://github.com/Azure-Samples/azure-health-data-and-ai-samples/tree/main/samples/patientandpopulationservices-smartonfhir-oncg10). The components that are necessary to get backend service running are only available on the ONC (g)(10) sample, so wanted to first confirm with you which sample you are using.
