Describe the bug

Running the command
az vmss disk attach -g {} --vmss-name {} --instance-id {} --disk {} --lun 0 on existing virtual machine and existing disk results in error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'image_reference'

The VM does not have previous data disks, but has one OS disk.

Expected behavior

The disk is attached as data disk to the virtual machine. This works when the VMSS is not an orchestrated vmss.
