Getting Podman working with Flatpak BOINC

I'm using the Flatpak of BOINC Manager on Bazzite 43 (based on Fedora 43, but can't use the same installation commands). Podman is installed, as I think it's installed by default, but I have no idea how to set it up in a way where BOINC will recognise it. Any ideas? (BOINC definitely isn't recognising that it's installed, since I get the "some projects require Docker" notice.)

I will, but considering there's an issue about this exact thing from 2025 that only got an "we'll look into this" reply and nothing else, I don't have a lot of faith in getting an answer there.
