[Feature request] Move windows across tiles using superkey + arrows

Add (optional) behaviour that enables the movement of windows across tiles by using the superkey + arrow keys. Ideally this would even work across monitors although this requires some more complex heuristics as monitors do not have to be adjacent.

Open questions:

• Should tiles with windows snapped into it be skipped? I guess only moving to 'empty' tiles will be the sane behaviour.

Hello there,
I found that project which is exactly what I needed to use with my ultrawidescreen, but I totally do need my keyboard to move my windows around (because keyboard is just superior to mouse ;) ) . Therefore I forked your repo and did some tinkering, and with the help of some "vibe coding" (yeah, i normally dont like it too, but I guess it works (sometimes), right?) I implemented a solution to this issue locally.
Since if never contributed to anything on GitHub, I hope the following a good overview (again, thanks to my friendly LLM for the structure) and can be of some help. I'll open a PR right after this comment. It's up to you if you accept it, or maybe even better to use parts of my solution to build something better, because my solution probably isnt nice, but "only" works :'D

Highlights:

• Move (Super + Arrow): Jump the focused window to the adjacent Fancy Tiles region in the pressed direction.
• Span (Super + Alt + Arrow): Expand the window across multiple tiles by repeatedly pressing the direction (union of adjacent tiles).
• Monitor fallback: If there’s no adjacent tile in that direction, Move will jump to the most appropriate neighboring monitor (closest center). Span never jumps monitors.
• Handles fullscreen/maximized windows (unmaximize before moving).
• Also kind of works with asymmetrical tiles (which I do some have because I dont want the tiles to overlap my conky-overview), but there are some hiccups here and there, depending of the minimal size of the window and adjacent tiles and stuff (but its good enough for me)

Technical notes

• Files:
  • extension.js: only added stuff to the existing one to registers the hotkeys and call a helper.
  • directional-move.js: new file to implements moveWindowByDirection(uuid, direction, { span?: boolean }).

Open question (“skip tiles with windows?”):
Current behavior: does not skip occupied tiles; it will move into the next region regardless (no swap), because thats the way I wanted it to work (I often have a lot open windows, and them overlapping is normal behaviour for me)

Hi @Retnock and welcome to Github 👍 Awesome that you took the time to create a PR!

It is nice to see that you were able to vibe-code this to support your own use case. It is a good example of how these coding agents can be used to extend applications to fit your own workflow!

I haven´t really dived too much into it yet, but on a functional level it seems it does a lot of things right by being able to move around and create union regions. From a technical point of view I can see that there is a some duplication of functionality present in other files and not well integrated into the architectural design. This is the result, I guess, of having it bolted on in an extra file and not really touching the current code.

I hope to have some time next week to start working on this feature. Then I can see if and how to integrate this.
