Files from my RC-coded mod (UTS2706 - A critique of markets in Singapore, AY24/25 S1) are not reflected in the folder saved on the personal directory through Lominus. This is because the files in Canvas for the particular course are listed at the Modules page, not at the Files page. Exporting the file contents returns a zip, of which the files can be retrieved through navigating within the extracted parent directory (viewer/files).

As such, I would like to recommend an inclusion of a function to extract files through the Export Course Content functionality if there are no files stored within a course's Files page.

Currently using Mac OS Sonoma, Macbook Pro M2 Pro (2023)

@randomwish sounds great ! this would be particularly useful for modules where lecturers do not upload certain files in the Files page, but only on the Modules page.

these documentations might be helpful: Canvas Modules API, specifically List Module Items and Show Module Item

Also a side note, just realised that NUS canvas is now using GraphQL queries instead of the traditional REST.

thanks !
