Changes since the previous version

Bug fixes

  • Fixed creatures with no baby or child state (most commonly forgotten beasts) displaying as a child due to garbage data being read.
  • Fixed a crash if weblegends was accessed during a specific step of loading a world. (viewscreen_adopt_regionst)

Improvements

  • Sites now display the race of the entity that claims to own them as long as there is only one such entity and the site does not have a race associated with it directly. Notably, this affects player fortresses.
  • Added "first" and "last" page links.
  • Items decorated with hanging rings, bands, and spikes are now described.
  • Reduced the size of map images by combining adjacent tiles into rectangles.
  • Added "Related Entities" to site pages.
  • Artifacts referred to in events now display their name and are clickable.

Installation instructions

Changes since the previous version

This update is mostly just to keep weblegends usable on a new version of Dwarf Fortress and DFHack. There are no newly supported event or object types.

  • Added a new version of the plugin API that allows non-CP437 or non-HTML output and the addition of custom headers and HTTP response codes. DFHack plugins using the old version of the plugin API are compatible with new versions of weblegends and vice versa.

Changes since the previous version

This update is mostly just to keep weblegends usable on a new version of Dwarf Fortress and DFHack. There are no newly supported event or object types.

  • Improved the phrasing of several death event descriptions.
  • Fixed a bug where dwarves adopted by cats would incorrectly be referred to as "owner".
  • Corpses and body parts referenced as items in events, such as a death after being crushed by a severed hand, now link to the applicable historical figure's page.
  • Weblegends now supports HTTP/1.1 keep-alive mode, so a new connection does not need to be established between each page load and the next.

Changes since the previous version

This update is mostly just to keep weblegends usable on a new version of Dwarf Fortress and DFHack. There are no newly supported event or object types.

  • Updated code to work with DFHack 0.44.xx structure changes.
  • Visual maps, such as the ones on region pages, now combine consecutive vertical blocks, which reduces the size of the page and will make it load faster in your browser and take less memory.
