This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font
to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.

- To Past the Catch and reoad the page
$ cntrl + F5
- Kill the server
$ kill -9 PID
$ pkill -f "ruby"
$ rm tmp/pids/server.pid
This fuser 8080/tcp
will print you PID of process bound on that port.
And this fuser -k 8080/tcp
will kill that process.
Works on Linux only. More universal is use of lsof -i4
(or 6 for IPv6).
General form:
- list the TCP process bound to port PORT
fuser PORT/
tcp` - Example: list the TCP process bound to port 8080
fuser 8080/tcp
- list the UDP process bound to port PORT
fuser PORT/udp
- Example: list the UDP process bound to port 8080
fuser 8080/udp
To stop all running Rails servers type the following is the terminal
- kill -9 $(lsof -i tcp:3000 -t)
