How do I flash the device back to the spinoff software?

The Sonoff? You can dump it before erasing or see if you find it somewhere on the Internet

Yeah sorry meant sonoff. So basically once it’s flashed with bierbot it’s bricked? No pun intended.

Haha. If you did not create a backup: yes. If you want to back and use your Sonoff for smart home you can always flash something like tasmota

So I gave tasmota a try. It’s shit. just hold the button. Normally, if the Brick does not find the WiFi it's configured for, it automatically opens a WiFi where you can connect to and change settings.
