Hello,

I have an interesting element to bring about this ticket.

I found a workaround by removing the reference to on line 18 in BrightcoveApp.master file, and recompiling locally a new release.

Now the connector is working on my sharepoint 2013 installation.

I think the "IECompatibleMetaTag" is a 2016 sharepoint dependency and not
work on 2013 (but I'm not a microsoft sharepoint expert :-).
