takes forever to assemble large file

recently downloading some AI models, where they're are few GBs to dozen GBs.

and it takes forever to assembly them.

CPU taking over 100% (~120%) according to htop, UI freeze, new downloads from browser (firefox / chrome) ignored.

it also taking up 90GB+ of ram when few "dozen GBs" files completes at the same time.

even after the notification "Download Completed" for the very-large-file, the UI still freeze for a long time.

it haven't come back alive after like 7 hrs...
tanking way longer to assemble than download.

i think the asembling should be done on a mmap handle, to avoid memory copy.
or maybe even avoid small split files at the beginning, just download directly to a single file (just seek to the offset), then move to final target after its completed.

Yeah it's a good idea to change the assembling process.
It takes a lot of time though and I'm really busy so it's something I will work on in the future
