Bit more data is needed:

  • Version of the mod
  • mods or modpack you are using
  • log files (both client and server)
  • crash or stack trace of the error
    Make sure to also submit logs as a pastebin or file upload.

If you're not the server owner see if you can ask the server owner to check the logs. Without logs and extra information the chances of fixing the issue is small. Especially since ICBM 2 is no longer supported and 1.7 even less so.

I also suggest making sure your using the latest alpha of VoltzEngine and ICBM. As its not uncommon for people to grab the beta of one but the alpha of another. Doing so leads to issues with packet handling and UI logic.

The thing is its not on an actual server, the game is single player.
If you think I would prefer it should I switch back to ICBM classic? It was not a crash so I don't think logs were made.

Free free to try out ICBM-Classic, but honestly the 1.7 versions were not very stable when I went to 1.12.

As for the actual issue, there likely is a stack trace when you got disconnected. Sometimes the game can recover from UI errors and just boot you back to main menu instead of killing the game.
