604-pre3

This pre-release changes the battery height and the covering method of the battery packs.

What's changed

• This change increases the battery shell height by 2mm.
• Add SFN-V2 document, which is used to be sticked to the front of the battery body.
• Added the upgraded pin cover, after we found out that the previous version is prone to falling with light forces, and so removed the old version.
• Minor changes in XT60 connector brick.
  Thanks for viewing the update. It should have release candidate after commissioning and made the assembly manual.

604-pre2

This pre-release changes the magnet mounting, bricks geometry changes and some renames to make them more accurate.

Changes

• After testing it's strength, we finally changed magnet mounting of standard variant of srabbit 604 and multi-material variant.
• Change magnet mounting of every bricks.
• Change mounting geometry of standard USB bricks and XT60 brick.
• Offset destination port to address rattling issue.
• Change anti-RP notch bump to address rattling issue.
• Added heat-seat variant of destination port for our heat-seat lovers to use.
• File renames to make some of them accurate.
• Uploaded magnet mount placement reference vector image.

Can't wait for the final release, if this is the final major change before release, it will be the simplest battery pack family available!

604-pre1

This pre-release made many changes on srabbit 604, however we did not know that we have promised that it was going to be released on this year April, because of the other projects' development, especially on the upcoming mod for Voron 2.

Additions

• Added custom brick CAD STEP model.
• Added srabbit 604 Standard model Multi-material top cover as 3mf file.
  • If you can't open a 3mf model, there is an alternative solution which involves a wordmark from the same folder and the top cover from the parent folder.

This year's important change

• Chamfered edges of every possible parts.
• Some parts are re-orientated.
• Removed srabbit 604+ for safety reasons.
  • This battery uses LiPo battery which is more dangerous than Li-Ion battery cells. It was removed and will be replaced by the upcoming srabbit 604 battery pack.
• Top cover edges are extruded to resolve warping after assembly.
• Offset height on anti-RP notch.

Other changes planned

Before the release, the magnet slot will be changed again to be held stronger. And also the assembly manual, I forgot.

srabbit 604+ body

Hi everyone! Today is srabbit 604+ body's release day, but since other accessories weren't out yet, we advise not to print / build it until the first accessory comes out. It should be out as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Assembly

This battery uses 4S1P 8000mAh Lithium polymer battery cells, which makes assembling the battery the difficult part of building a body.

This body requires a battery management system board.
