Project Management Tools

Project boards on GitHub help us to organise and prioritise our work and tasks. You can create project boards for specific features, comprehensive roadmaps, and release checklists for tasks. We are using this to track the work that we need to do as well as the completed work.

As a team, we made an arrangement to do a weekly sprint each Monday since the start of the Project. All our recordings of the sprints can be found on our Blackboard Group page as well as a brief discussion and new goals set for the week on our Team journal on Blackboard. We also had weekly/bi-weekly meetings with our clients and a meeting with our mentor when we required assistance.

We used the Google Suite to collaborate on documents with our clients as well as organize and set up meetings via Google Meet. Our team also utilized a Discord server where we communicated with each other, our clients, and our mentors. We also configured this server to receive updates and notifications from our Repository. Every time a team member created an issue, activated a workflow, etc. everyone was notified of these actions.
