Merge efforts with salt-openstack

As discussed in cloudbase/salt-openstack#4 (comment) the https://github.com/cloudbase/salt-openstack/ project looks very similar to what is being done here and it would be a shame to duplicate the work.

It would be great to see the two projects share states and code (if possible).

Why GPL? Please make it Apache2 license instead? That would make it easier to allow this project accepted by the saltstack community.

We aim to push upstream our contribution, have it become part of the salt project. For this it must have apache2 license.
