Description

  • Current provider version (v1.2.7) does not allow to create SVI interface types. This interface type is very common in all types of fabrics and it seems that for now the only way to configure them is through the "dcnm_rest" resource. It would be helpful to include it as a valid option for the "type" attribute within the "dcnm_interface" resource.

New or Affected Resource(s):

  • dcnm_interface

DCNM version

  • DCNM 11.x
  • NDFC 12.x

Potential Terraform Configuration

resource "dcnm_interface" "svi_config" {
  policy        = "int_svi_vlan_500"
  type          = "svi"
  name          = "vlan500"
  fabric_name   = "fab2"
  switch_name_1 = "leaf2"
}
