ATS Configuration between Dev and Prod #5

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to open the issue at the moment so its not forgotten about.
Our iOS dev build currently overrides ATS to access and test data access through the REST API as we move into production we will want to turn this off as production it utilizing HTTPS and conforms to ATS.
I'm opening the issue to see if anyone knows of or can investigate a way to toggle the ATS overrides in an easy to use fashion in a single project build or if we really need two different builds moving forward from dev to prod.
