• MoviesCat is an entertainment purpose website where one can find detailed information on any movie including its title, genre, cast, etc. and also watch its trailer. Join the MoviesCat community and start exploring the world of movies today! o After visiting the website firstly, the Home page appears which contains the Feature page giving an introduction to the website. After scrolling there are tiles containing the movie’s poster, title and a short description which is shown after hovering it. An explore button is also provided which opens another page named ‘Feature-Movie Page’ showing some more information regarding the movie. This feature is currently available to only one movie. o On the navbar there is Home option which will take you directly to the Home page and other options are Series, Popular and New Releases which on clicking will scroll down to the respective component. The about option shows the about page of the website. o Along with navbar, we have sidebar also where search box is provided to search a particular movie. Search box in not fully working currently we are working on it . Moreover, the ticket booking button takes you to BookMyShow website where one can book tickets .The contact us icon takes you to the contact us page of the website where the team members info is present along with their social media handles.

Fully implemented features :
- Sticky Navbar and sidebar
- Surfing of pages through buttons and icons on navbar and sidebar.
- Going to contact profiles in Contact section
- Working SignUp and Login page and storing data in local storage.

- Data storage in Login-page/Sign-up page using MongoDB
- Searching for random movies using Search-Bar
- Information is not available for all movies
Future plans for the project here
- User would be able to add his own critics/ratings as well as watch other user’s critics/rating.
- Working storage system in MongoDB.
- Using API to import information of most of the movies available instead of manually filling the information
- Playing a trailer on the same page instead of redirecting to YouTube
- Showing the places/theatres available in a region for watching newly released movies/shows
MovieCat website in real life satisfies entertainment purposes of Movie lovers.One can know everything that must be known about his favourite movie before watching it. Also it makes it simple to find a perfect movie for you. After that you would also be able to see where to watch those movies on big screens in your particular region. Monetization can be done through advertisement using Google AdSense. Further we can start a paid subscription for a premium version of the website in which there would be some extra features as discussed in the future scope section.
- Pull or extract from zip the public, src and other folders into local storage.
- Install node modules, react router dom and other necessary using command ‘npm install’ in terminal.
- To use fontAwsome icons use the following commands : • npm i --save @fortawesome/fontawesome-svg-core • npm install --save @fortawesome/free-solid-svg-icons • npm install --save @fortawesome/react-fontawesome
- After setup firstly open the folder using VScode and open terminal and type command ‘npm start’ to start the react app.
- Use the icons on the Sidebar to surf through different pages
- On the Navbar there appears links to scroll down to a particular category(for ex. POPULAR) and the Login button where one can first Sign-Up and then login .
- On clicking on the explore button on a movie you will redirect to a page where you will find detailed information regarding that movie
