Hi,
I appreciate that there is already a repo for the win32 (winforms and wpf) toolkit, which has a small set of controls which are designed to host UWP controls in the netcore 3 xaml islands - and this repo states that the development of that is not going to progress any further - however I wondered if there had been discussions or proposals to port some of the controls in the windows community toolkit to native WPF? A lot of the layouts/panels/controls/etc in the windows community toolkit for UWP/WinUI 3 could be replicated to some degree in WPF.
WPF is still a highly used technology and so I think there would be an appetite for this in native WPF (lots of people still using .net framework an unable to use xaml islands for example).
I assume this has already been discussed at some point. I would be happy to contribute to this sort of project, as a big consumer still of WPF, and I’m sure others would too.
