Awesome code.gouv.fr is a list of remarkable Free Software developed and maintained by French public organisations.

Do you think dfir-orc would be a good fit in this list?

If so, would you be okay to add a publiccode.yml file in the repository?

publiccode.yml is a standard for describing software projects by public administrations, developed and maintained by Developers italia. We use this standard to grab and display projects' metadata on Awesome code.gouv.fr.

To ease the process of creating a publiccode.yml file, there is an online editor : https://publiccode-editor.developers.italia.it/

Note that we ask projects to add the fundedBy key, an array of [ name, url ] for public sector organisations that fund the project.

You can also find an example here: https://github.com/spyrales/shinygouv/blob/main/publiccode.yml

In any case, let me know if/how I can help further.
