Error in loading WebApp (5.0.1) #6586

I've just updated to 8.0.5 and after the fix here:

I was able to launch the WebApp service.

However, when I try to access to the portal the application monitors are not loaded:

I cannot figure out what's the problem now.

In the logs I just see:

You can remove web.cfg as it is not read since v7r2: https://github.com/DIRACGrid/DIRAC/wiki/DIRAC-v7r2#web-configuration
If that does not sort out your issue we'll try something else.

where it seems to me that the messages:

are missing the method name. I don't know if this indicates some mis-configuration.

No that's not an issue.
Seems to that the static directories are not server, but TBH I am not sure why. You are running without nginx and I don't have experience with type of configuration.

Yes, I've tried different things with static directories but I haven't found the issue.
With the previously installed version of WebAppDIRAC 4.3.7 it was working fine.

I found the issue.
It was missing the DIRACWebAppResources module.
I suggest to add it to the doc since it seems to me that it's not really documented.

How did you install the WebApp ? it's in the pip dependencies https://github.com/DIRACGrid/WebAppDIRAC/blob/integration/setup.cfg#L43

It's needed for compiling WebApp extensions and unfortunately there isn't a way of making the default mode to be [server].

I thought the "most common usecase" was managing it via the system administrator where this is handled automatically but if there are also manual installations we can document that too. Do you have suggestion about where this belongs?
