How to handle hotfixing?

My naive suggestion would be to support installing from a branch (like #36 does for development) but maybe there are better ways.

That certainly is an option, but I think that if we make a good enough CI, it is extremely quick to get a new docker image to be used, even if it is not the official one. So we hotfix the image rather than the code

While that might be the route for us, I suspect other communities might favour something less heavy
