Samplers not triggering the sound #830

I don't want to use external midi, just hear the generative sound/synthesis for standalone executable version. |

the module on its own won't do anything, you have to use another module to trigger it, like a sequencer for example in the below screencast i use computerscare's ilovecookies module just to quickly demonstrate what i mean (Spectacle doesn't record sound, sorry u.u) 1.mp4 |

if you want for example randomized breakbeats, you also want another module's output to modulate the position (POS) input, try one of JW's generative modules and patch the output to OUAIve's input in the below screenshot i'm still using ilovecookies. it sounds terrible, but that's not the module's fault; be glad you don't have to listen to it ^^ the knob circled in orange will adjust the number of slices on your sample, the knob circled in green is your sample play rate; both can be modulated, as they have CV input ports to the right, to which you can patch other generative sequencers, like - once again - JW Modules for example bottom line is that modules don't do anything on their own, they need other modules ** |
