SVG icons are not correctly aligned inside anchor tags

I had already a previous go at fixing this inside buttons: df84e61

But the underlying issue here is that our SVG tags aren't allowed to render inline. I think there should be solutions to this, like mentioned in this article . Google for something like "display svg inline inside anchor tag" and go nuts.

I'd expect the SVG to be somewhere after the text, not after the block of text. Like so:

And not entirely on the right either.
