I'm not that familiar with using OneClick.
I've looked at numerous options but can't get past this error

XBAP Install Error: "Downloading ...exe.manifest did not succeed"

I've also looked here but nothing I seem to try works..
(including changing browser settings and changing AssemblyInfo.cs to use a strong named key - which I've reversed out!)

Can you perhaps add some notes for this for others. I suspect it's not an error - just my naivety.

I can answer this now... I found the solution. I thought my Visual Studio in my VM was launching IE each time when the XBAP was generated during one click deploy. Instead it was launching Chrome. I had to change the default browser to IE, for IE to launch.

Bear in mind my comments about the AssemblyInfo.cs and Version. Don't use asterisks - use 1.0.0.0 or 2.0.0.0 - otherwise with each one click the version will advance. (You'll need to do it in the VB version too).
