Customzie space between p blocks

I love this plugin, but there's one thing about it that plagues me: it makes the space between paragraphs huge. I've tried to fix it with custom CSS, but doing so seems to break other features, particularly the auto resize. I'd like to be able to set the space to be a normal line height (1em).

The auto resize + huge gap makes a lot of my notes end up like this:

And it's not just the ruby doing it. It seems to afflict any note with a single text line -> empty line -> single text line format.

If I understand your issue correctly, it is purely a CSS issue that isn't caused by AC. Is this behaviour still observable when using the default theme?

Beginning by using the default Obsidian theme, ensuring I have no CSS snippets active, and not using any other Canvas-related plugins, I find that the issue only arises when text alignment is set to center using Advanced Canvas. I tested with both alphabetical characters and CJK characters.

• Using Advanced Canvas, if text alignment is set to left or right, the cards automatically resize appropriately.
• If I use a CSS snippet to set alignment to center and use Obsidian's built-in card resizing without Advanced Canvas, the cards resize appropriately.
• If I use a CSS snippet to set alignment to center, use Advanced Canvas' automatic card-resizing, but leave the text alignment in Advanced Canvas set to left or right, then the cards resize appropriately while displaying with a center alignment.

Hence, it seems that the issue must be specifically in the way Advanced Canvas sets center alignment.

My apologies for posting this in the wrong area. I didn't think this was an actual bug at first, but now it seems that is likely the case.
