Why is this project advertising free "domains"?

Correct me if I am wrong, but this project is advertising free "domains" as in using a TLD for free when in reality is just letting you create subdomains for their registered domains like us.kg. Am I missing something?

Yes, that's indeed the same question I was having when I first tried to claim one of these free "domains".
What do they have to gain from this initiative though?

I mean YES, you are correct to point out this is not our domain instead it's only subdomain.

I also got my subdomain for free as below.

But I don't think anything wrong in here, if I can connect name servers 1 and 2 connected to cloudflare DNS and add CNAME or A records to host my projects for free which can be renewed every year, what's wrong if they provide us subdomains on their domains?

I used to host my same project on cheapest domains from namecheap at only 89 rupees per year, now I got free forever domain :)

My only concern is the wording of the project. Nothing beyond that. I won't use the project and would like to delete my account, but nothing wrong with people wanting to use a free subdomain.

I feel the same way. It took a while to figure out the domains are us.kg and not .com. It should be mentioned in the title to make it clear.
