For now, the collection of dotfiles is for easy access and reference of the files with no automated processing or intelligent application for updating existing systems/applying to new systems.
There are many common methods for how other people manage their dotfiles, including bare repos, symlinks (e.g. using GNU Stow), directly copying files, "install" scripts that can be utilized with curl, or even Ansible in some cases.
Will likely want multiple options, as I will want to apply (some of) these dotfiles permanently to certain systems, and only temporarily utilize them on others.
Will need to research and document workflows for the option(s) selected.
