Suggestion
My suggestion is an option so that the peak that gives first-join-pickaxe is the only one that the user can have, that is, that the pickaxe is not deleted from the user's inventory for any reason.

Features:
That the pickaxe is not cleared from inventory upon death.
That the pickaxe cannot be pulled by the user.
That the pickaxe cannot be moved to another inventory.

Why this feature?
I would like the user to not be able to lose the pickaxe that they played many hours for either by dying or by some mistake they make when throwing it out by mistake or losing it, also in case higher level users start selling improved pickaxes.

Hello,
basically we are unable to check deletion of the pickaxes because other various plugins as Essentials for example have their own system which ignore every other plugins.

Couldn't you at least add the option that the pickaxe cannot be changed slot or inventory?

It seems this suggestion was taken and added into the game. Is there any way to toggle this off? As much as I love that players cant have their pickaxe griefed away from them I want to have it so players can use different pickaxes with all sorts of cool names. Also having an item permanently stuck to whatever inventory slot it falls into sucks. Players should be able to do whatever they want with their pickaxe.

I think it was never added as it was not mentioned and I never had an answer as to whether it would be added or not.

If you use executableitems you can do it, first-join-pickaxe: in file enchant.yml false option!
