Curves are not alone on their lines

On my phone the curves share horizontal space with midtones hence it is fairly hard to edit them precisely:

This is a regression since on the very first release it was working fine.

This is already fixed in a newer version of the app, which doesn't yet have a release. Im working on fixing some things and will publish a new apk in the next few days.

Great thanks! But out of curiosity, why do you put the luma/red/green/blue on the left and not on the top of the curve to leave more space for editing?

@tobiasBora I want the UI to stay usable without needing to scroll, which is why I placed the controls on the side. The screenshot I sent was just a quick first implementation and will be cleaned up and improved.

For the next release, I’ll focus on adjusting the layout for screen ratios like yours. So far I’ve only tested on the S25U, Pixel 7 Pro, and the Pixel Tablet, so your feedback is very helpful. Thanks you very much :)

Im thinking about switching from the default android bottom app bar to a custom app bar (or the old android default bar) which uses less space.

I see. I don't need to scroll for now but maybe it is because of the small viewport. Then on small screens maybe just red/green/blue buttons (no text, or just "r/g/b" inside the circle) are good enough?

It takes a bit of space indeed, reducing a bit the margin if possible might help as well. The top bar is maybe even more space consuming, reducing its margin might help even further. Or why not a full screen mode to gain again a few pixels?

Fullscreen is a good idea, I will try that. Yes im currently removing the top app bar/making it transparent. I'm also trying to make the adjustments part adaptive so for only sliders its smaller and the preview is bigger and for curves or color wheels, the Adjustments part is bigger.

Just one minor detail: the top right corner of curves is rounded hence it hides the control point behind it.

I also experience sometimes some restart of the app when the preview is full screen (but it feels less crashy than for export where it was taking several seconds to restart + it was crashing the app launcher as well), but I need to check if it's just a mistake of mine.
