We are creating tools that automate the process of asking candidates questions, recording their answers, collecting their responses and packaging them into what look like debates, but are more civil, online, and more easily navigated. When candidates do this, Ballotpedia includes it as a "Candidate Conversation" for voters when they are deciding who to vote for. Here is an example: https://ballotpedia.org/United_States_Senate_election_in_Oregon,_2020_(May_19_Republican_primary)#Candidate_Conversations

In 2018 25.3 million voters, or 22.4 percent visited Ballotpedia before casting their vote on Nov 6.

Our goal is to make Candidate Conversations available to voters across for as many candidates and elections as possible across the country. - for free.

EnCiv's core goal is to make large-scale online democratic discourse productive.
