Provide base height maps?

Would it be possible to get the original gray height maps? I don't know a way to convert the RGB maps back into a usable height map given the non-standard coloring used.

@Endebert made a guide on how to extract heightmaps from SDK , follow it and stop before the RGB converting part

Or you can reverse the coloring from the existing image using any image editor.
I can't remember if this repo provide full heightmaps or just tiny scares, but if not you can find full image in my repo
