currently a workflow is a sequence of steps

could I have multiple steps with dependencies where as many steps are run at once as possible?

This requires:

a true dependency system
a true tracking of steps status (waiting, active, done)
a way to avoid QoL limits crashes
a recovery system (restart last step after crash)
